- Large Metal Appliances
- Books (soft cover & paperback)
- Brown paper bags
- Corrugated cardboard
- Clean & Rinsed clear, green, & brown glass
- Gently used clothing
- Newspapers, magazines, junk mail, catalogs, office paper, envelopes
- Plastics #1, #2, & #5
- Scrap metal
- Clean & Rinsed tin/steel/bimetal soup, food coffee cans, etc.
- Clean & Rinsed wax coated milk/juice cartons
Conservation Center:
- Branches (less than 3 inches in diameter)
- Brush (no root ball)
- Grass
- Leaves
- Twigs
Materials NOT Allowed at the Recycling & Conservation Center
Items for Regular Garbage:
- Aluminum Foil/Pie Plates
- Ceramic Pots & terracotta vases
- Drinking glasses
- Household batteries
- Light bulbs
- Take-out or frozen meal trays
- Window and mirror glass
- Styrofoam/Polystyrene (packing peanuts)
- Plastic bags
- Food Waste
- Used Diapers
- Plastics #3, #4, #6, #7 (and those without identifying numbers)
- Medical Waste - needles, syringes, etc.
- Hazardous Waste
- Pizza Boxes
- Metal Hangers
