Curbside Recycling Collection Schedule

The Wyckoff Township Committee has awarded five year contracts effective January 1st, 2018, for curbside collection of solid waste and for weekly curbside collection of recyclables, alternating weeks between two different categories - cardboard/newsprint/mixed paper & then liquid/food containers.

The recycling contract provides:

  • Recycling collection at residences, small commercial operations, and houses of worship.
  • Every week curbside collection of recyclables, alternating categories each week - all year round.
  • Districts 2, 3, 6, & 7 recyclables will be collected every Monday.
  • Districts 1, 4, 5, & 8 recyclables will be collected every Tuesday.

Recyclables can be placed at the curb after 6:00 pm the night before scheduled pickup.  There is never a limit on the amount of recyclables collected curbside.  Curbside collections begin at 6:00 am.

Liquid and Food Containers Information

Not Accepted:  Pizza boxes (due to food residue); aluminum foil and aluminum food trays; plastic take-out containers, window, drinking, or shower glass; light bulbs; compact fluorescent bulbs; mirrors; plastic bags of any kind or color, including dry cleaning, newspaper, trash or grocery BAGS, plastics 3,4,6 & 7, diapers.
