RAFFLE LICENSE INFORMATION

To conduct a raffle in Wyckoff, a qualified organization must have an identification number/registration certificate issued by the State of New Jersey, Legalized Games of Chance Commission (LGCCC). To determine if your organization is a qualified organization, please contact the LGCCC at 973-273-8000. The LGCCC will review and approve all applications for obtaining a registration certificate. This process can be lengthy, so please allow at least 8 weeks to obtain your registration. A link to the initial affidavit and application appears below.

Additionally, to conduct a raffle in Wyckoff, at least one member of the organization whose name appears on the application as being in charge of the games must be fingerprinted according to the below instructions. Once fingerprinted, this member will be qualified to conduct games for three years.

2023 changes to the Raffle Licensing law now require a 1-800-Gambler sign to be posted near the prizes where games of chance are being played.

If you are having tickets printed by a printer, you will now need to request a Certificate from the printer for your records. This Certificate will certify the following:

1) the number of tickets printed; 2) the first and last numbers used; 3) that the ticket numbers were consecutively numbered; 4) a sample of the ticket.

Each licensee will have to keep this certificate for two years with all of the unsold tickets as a part of its records.
