The Reference staff provides in-person and telephone reference service, such as locating facts, statistics, names, bibliographic information, and citations to periodical articles. In-depth reference or research assistance may require 48 hours to complete. Librarians also perform Internet and online database searches and offer instruction in searching the online Library catalog and Internet search engines.

Remote Access
The Library's website address is www.wyckoff-nj.com (click on Library). Patrons can also access the Library from "BCCLS" (Bergen County Cooperative Library System) at www.bccls.org by linking to "Member Libraries" and clicking on "BCCLS Libraries with Home Pages," then scrolling down to "Wyckoff."
Patrons may place book requests, view their own library record (PIN # required), renew books and search databases via remote access.

Internet Access and Use Policy
Internet access (unfiltered) is available to adults and children. Patrons indicate their compliance with library policy by signing a registration form at the Reference desk. Children under 18 years of age are required to have a permission slip signed by one parent or guardian on file at the library before they may use the Internet. The parent must come to the library in person to read the policy and sign the form. Responsibility for a child's use of the Internet rests solely with his or her parent or legal guardian.
