BOOK SALE
The Library accepts book donations six times a year:

January 1-15

July 1-15
|

March 1-15
|
September 1-15
|

May 1-15
|
November 1-15
|
Books will only be accepted during these time periods and must be delivered when the Library is open.
Books are put on sale for patrons or in certain cases added to the permanent collection. In either case, donations are tax-deductible, and the Library will provide, upon request, a written acknowledgment of patrons' donations.
Popular Book Sale items are:

current fiction: thrillers, romance novels, and mysteries

children's books
|

non-fiction: cookbooks, art, politics

Some Caveats:

All books should be in good condition
(no mildewed, torn, or stained pages, or broken spines, etc.) |

The Library does not accept:
Textbooks Cliffs Notes Magazines or Journals Condensed books (such as Reader's Digest) |

Susan Lane distributes books on a regular and frequent basis to the patients, clinics and staff at the University Hospital in Newark. She accepts practically all hard- and soft-cover books in good condition. Please contact her directly by phone at 201-891-9394 or by email: iemmamom@aol.com.

Barnes & Noble's "Buy Back" Program.
This program is only available at the store on Rt. 17 South in Paramus. Sales Annex managers will evaluate your book donations with regard to particular subjects which change weekly. |
