If you wish to apply for Wyckoff Affordable Housing, please follow the 2008 Regional Income Limits provided by the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing (COAH). Applicants may apply for purchase units and/or rental units. Affordable housing allows families earning below 80% of the median income level to acquire housing at prices they can afford. Households with the following income levels may qualify:
1 person - $43,160
2 people - $49,326
3 people - $55,492
4 people - $61,658
5 people - $66,590
6 people - $71,523
Households making MORE THAN these levels are NOT ELIGIBLE. The Wyckoff affordable housing units are for persons or families of limited income. Those interested in purchasing re-sale units must have 5% of the purchase price available for a down payment and qualify for a mortgage. Unfortunately, Wyckoff cannot guarantee the availability of an affordable housing unit for each certified household.

Once you have submitted the completed application along with a non-refundable money order or check to the Wyckoff Housing Consultant, the following will occur:
1. It will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to become certified or placed in an income category according to your household size and income level.
2. Your certification will remain on record until you are notified that you may be among other applicants considered for a unit.
3. At that time a new application must be filed and a processing fee paid if your certification was issued more than 8 months before you were advised that a unit becomes available.
4. Affordable Housing placement is by original date of certification.
