Curbside Household Garbage & Trash Collection

Garbage and Trash collection is once a week at the curb from October 1st through April 30th; twice a week collection is from May 1st to September 30th.

During twice-a-week collection there is a four item limit per pickup. During once-a-week collection there is an eight item limit per pickup.

MATERIALS NOT COLLECTED AT CURBSIDE:

• Construction and demolition debris
• Permanent fixtures from homes, such as toilets, sinks etc.
• Fences (if metal, bring to Recycling Center)
• Propane tanks
• Swing sets (if metal, bring to Recycling Center)
• Aluminum sheds (bring to Recycling Center)
• Windows and doors
• Used motor oil and other hazardous waste
• Wood, Wooden pallets and fireplace wood
• Furnaces (instruct vendor installing new furnace to take old furnace)
• Oil-based paints, shellacs & wood preservatives
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Furnaces (instruct vendor installing new furnace to take old furnace)
• Glues and adhesives • Propane tanks
• Pool filters and heaters

Materials must be placed at the curb prior to 6 a.m. of your pickup day and empty containers must be removed by 7 p.m. of the pickup day.
